Day1: Hanoi Arrival (D)

You are welcome at the airport and then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Balance of the day is free time. 

Later afternoon, enjoy a traditional water puppet show. It is a unique traditional performance of Vietnam.

At night, a welcome dinner with traditional Vietnamese music will give you a first taste of Vietnamese cuisine and their culture.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi City excursion – Night train to Lao Cai (B,L)

The colonial capital city Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental pagodas and temples. This full day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilts House, Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda nearby, the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, peaceful West Lake with lovers street Thanh Nien, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda. Take 01 hour cyclo tour around the Old Quarter to enjoy the soul and sound of Hanoi.
After that, transfer to the Railway Station for the night train to Lao Cai. 
Overnight on train with A/C, soft sleeper cabin (4 people/cabin).

Day 3: Lao Cai – Bac Ha Sunday market - Sapa (B,L,D) or  (Can Cau Saturday Market)

The train arrives in the early morning. Our local tour guide will be waiting you at the Railway Station .Breakfast at a local restaurant and then depart for Bac Ha with 2 hours driving. Bac Ha is the largest and most colourful market in the area. Every Sunday morning, many different ethnic groups such as Flower Hmong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay and Nung minorities gather to buy and sell local products that cannot be found elsewhere. After lunch, have a short transfer by bus to Trung Do village, where you will walk to visit the Tay minority village. After visiting the Tay village, you will get onboard a motor boat and cruise along the Chay River.
Back to the private vehicle for the journey to Sapa and spend the night there.

Day 4: Lao Chai – Ta Van – Night train to Hanoi (B,L,D)

Today our guide takes you to villages populated by H'Mong and Dzay peoples, respectively called Lao Chai and Ta Van. From here you drive to Lao Cai station for night train back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi – Ha Long (B,L,D)

The train arrives at Hanoi in the early morning (05.00 AM). Pick up from here and transfer to a local restaurant for breakfast and short rest before a journey to Ha Long.
Around 08.00 AM, drive to Ha Long Bay with 4 hours travelling for the overnight cruise on a deluxe junk. Begin with a seafood lunch then explore some limestone caves. In the afternoon enjoy a swim or relax in the sun on the top deck.

Day 6: Ha Long – Hanoi (B,L)

This morning continue to move around the bay to find more secluded areas. 

At around midday, the boat will return to the main harbor before transferring to an awaiting vehicle for the journey back to Hanoi Airport for your safe flight back home.
