Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)

Welcome to Hanoi Airport by your local guide. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. We’ll then proceed with a sightseeing tour of Hanoi.

CITY TOUR HIGHLIGHTS:

• Visit West Lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda where you can get a deep understanding of the local life, culture, and religion
• Explore the Old Quarter by rickshaw to view the most elegant French colonial architecture and the bustling streets in Hanoi
• Enjoy a traditional water puppet show which is unique to Vietnamese culture
• Dinner at a local restaurant

Day 2:  Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Bike Tour (B, L)

In the morning, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer about 2.5 hours to Hoa Lu - Ninh Binh, the capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries.

On arrival, we will visit Hoa Lu (Ancient Capital City of Vietnam) and enjoy a unique boat trip to visit three caves, Tam Coc is known for the name “Halong bay on land” due to its spectacular scenery with limestone karsts rising from the ground to tower over the region, and is a truly wonderful sight to see. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we go for a bike ride in a rural village for about 45 minutes. Bike riding is a great way to see the countryside. We will visit a temple, a local family, and a local market. This is a great opportunity to meet some locals and learn more about daily life in the region. 

15.30: Drive back to Hanoi

17.30: Arrive at Hanoi and spend overnight there.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Cruise (B, L, D)

Have Breakfast at the hotel and check out. You’ll be picked up at around 8:00 AM from your hotel, drive the 3.5 to 4 hours to Halong — with a 30-minute comfort stop

11:30 - 12:15: Arrive at Halong International Cruise Port.

12:30 - 13:00: Embark on the Halong cruise. Check-in, enjoy welcome drinks, and cruise briefing.

13:00 - 14:30: Enjoy lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay, and admire the fascinating formations on the way.

15:30 - 16:30: Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.

17:00 - 17:30: Return to the boat – Swim or relax on sundeck.

18:00: Anchor for overnight in the Cong Do area.

18:15: Pre-dinner cocktail party – Happy Hour.

18:30 - 19:00: Cooking class in a restaurant or outdoor.

19:30 - 21:00: Savour a delicious set dinner in the restaurant.

21:00 - 23:00: Night-time squid fishing or relaxing and enjoying the fresh air.

Day 4:  Halong – Hanoi (Brunch)

06:30: Enjoy the sunrise on the Bay. Morning Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

06:45 - 07:45: Coffee, tea, and breakfast pastries are served in the restaurant.

08:00 - 08:30: Transfer to bamboo sampan boat to visit Vung Vieng Fishing

Village. Rowers are local people wearing traditional costumes.

09:00 - 09:30: Check out of cabins. Start cruising towards the port.

09:30 - 10:30: International buffet brunch served in the restaurant.

10:30 - 11:00: Disembark. End of trip. Drive back to Hanoi and enjoy the rest of the day

Day 5: Hanoi Departure (B)

Free time at your leisure until transfer to the airport by private car for your departure flight back home. The room is at disposal until noon time only. SERVICES END.
