Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Vietnam's capital of Hanoi, your tour guide will welcome you outside the customs area holding a sign with your name on it. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 14h00. We’ll then proceed with a sightseeing tour of Hanoi.

• Water Puppet Performance - Enjoy a water puppet performance that is unique to Vietnamese culture.
• 36 Old Quarters - make a walking tour to explore the Old Quarter of Hanoi and enjoy shopping in Hanoi Old Quarter. 
• Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Hanoi City Excursion (B, L, D)

The colonial capital city Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes, and oriental pagodas and temples. This haft-day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilts House, Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda nearby, Temple of Literature.

Remark: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum closes from 08 September to 08 November for annual maintenance. Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Fridays and Mondays and most museums are closed on Mondays. All visitors to the mausoleum are required to wear clothes covering their knees and shoulders. This applies to both men and women

Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, drive to Halong Bay, 180 km east of Hanoi then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Dinner at a local restaurant. 

In the evening, free time for shopping at Halong Night Market or have a soothing massage, facial, pedicure, or other treat-yourself treatment

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L/D)

After breakfast, at 07.45, our guide and driver pick up you at your hotel, and then take a haft-day cruise to discover Ha Long Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. A 4-hour boat trip will visit one grotto, then continue to explore more of these wonders of creation. Seafood lunch on board. 

We’ll reach the pier around noon and then transfer back to Hanoi. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon to explore the city

Day 4: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Trang An (B/L/D)

08.00: Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer about 2.5 hours to Hoa Lu - Ninh Binh, the capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries — with a 20-minute comfort stop

On arrival, we will visit several historical sites in Hoa Lu Ancient Capital such as the Temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang, the Temple of King Le Dai Hanh, and a small museum with excavations and artifacts. The tour will help you better understand the history of the foundation and development of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu from 968-1010

Afterward, continue to visit the beautiful Trang An and enjoy 2 hours boat trip to explore the beauty of Trang An Eco-Tourism Complex. Trang An is known by the name “Halong bay on land” due to its spectacular scenery with limestone karsts rising from the ground to tower over the region, and is a truly wonderful sight to see. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.

15.30: Drive back to Hanoi

17.30: Arrive at Hanoi and spend overnight there.

Day 5: Free Time – Departure Flight (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out / Check out time: 12h00

Free time at your leisure. Transfer to the Airport by private car for your safe flight back home.
