Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Arrive at Hanoi by….. Upon your arrival, welcome with the guide at the airport in Hanoi and then transfer to your hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 14h00. Free at leisure. Meals on your own.
Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B/L)
Full-day tour of Vietnam’s capital city, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday), the traditional stilt house, One pillar pagoda, and the thousand-year-old Temple of literature also known as the “First University of Vietnam”. Lunch in a local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit Thu Huong Lacquer Arts & Workshop where you will learn about the history of lacquer, when it appeared in the world and how it developed through centuries. You will also learn about the color that is made from tree bark and the technique of using it, making the difference between Japanese or Chinese lacquer with Vietnamese ones, and get to know the reason why the traditional Vietnamese lacquer takes a long time to finish.
Continue to visit the Ethnology Museum (closed on Monday) where you can discover the diversity of Vietnam’s many ethnic groups.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a traditional water puppet show. Dinner on your own.
Overnight in Hanoi
Day 3: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Bike Tour (B/L)
In the morning, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer about 2.5 hours to Hoa Lu - Ninh Binh, the capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries.
On arrival, we will visit Hoa Lu (the Ancient Capital City of Vietnam) and enjoy a unique boat trip to visit three caves, Tam Coc is known by the name “Halong bay on land” due to its spectacular scenery with limestone karsts rising from the ground to tower over the region, and is a truly wonderful sight to see. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we go for a bike ride in a rural village for about 45 minutes. Bike riding is a great way to see the countryside. We will visit a temple, a local family, and a local market. This is a great opportunity to meet some locals and learn more about daily life in the region.
After the tour, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Dinner on your own.
Overnight in Ninh Binh
Day 4: Hanoi – Halong (B/L/D)
Have breakfast at hotel and check out of your room
08:00 – 08:15: Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer about 3.5 to 4 hours to Halong — with a 30-minute comfort stop.
11:30: Visit the pearl farm & workshop. Visitors will have the chance to witness the process of forming a pearl, from cultivation to harvest. Visitors will be introduced meticulously to each stage of the pearl production by the staff. You will definitely feel excited when witness every single twinkle pearl is taken out by the skillful hands of artisans.
12:15: Arrive at Halong International Cruise Port.
12.00 – 12.30: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.
12.30 – 13.00: Check-in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing.
13.30 – 15.00: Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; admire the fascinating formations on the way.
15.15 – 15.40: Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.
15.45 – 18.00: Enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach at Hon Co Island, swimming, or kayaking.
18.00 – 19.00: Back to junk for refreshing before having dinner on board.
20.00 – 21.00: Relax, enjoy fresh air & overnight on board

Day 5: Halong – Hanoi – Hue (B/L)
07.30 – 08.00: Morning view of the Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air.
08.30 – 09.30: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic rowboat, meet the local people, and pass through the floating school and fish farms.
09.30 – 10.00: More time for swimming in the middle of the bay.
10.00 – 11.30: Start cruising towards the harbor while an A la carte lunch is served.
11.45 – 12.00: Disembark. Transfer to the airport for flight Hanoi – Hue by flight …….. Welcome (with a guide) to the airport and transfer to Hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner on your own.

Day 6: Hue City Tour (B/L)
Hue city was the capital of Vietnam from 1802 to 1945 under the 13 Emperors of the Nguyen dynasties. The World Tourism Organization (WTO) has classified Hue as one of the four main attraction centers of Vietnam. Hue is famous for its magnificent architecture of citadels, palaces, pagodas, and royal tombs, built in poetic surroundings on the banks of the Perfume River.
In the morning we have a boat ride on the Perfume River and visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Our next stop is the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden City, created in the 19th century for the Emperors under Nguyen Dynasty. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. Located 7 km from Hue, the tomb of Tu Duc is one of the most beautiful sights in Hue. He breathes tranquility and is a model of traditional Vietnamese art. This is also an opportunity to learn about the history of the dynasty Nguyen and the French colonial invasion. You can also visit Tu Hieu Pagoda. Located 5 km from Hue and close to the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc Tu Hieu Pagoda serenity. In the shelter of a pine forest, it was built in 1843 by the monk Nhat Dinh. Built on a hillside, this pagoda has a very quiet location. It also houses a community of monks who remains very active. In the garden, you can see the graves of some royal mandarins. Visit this pagoda is interesting because it shows how the monastic life continues to be important in Hue, which remains the most important Buddhist center in Vietnam.
16h00: Return to hotel. Dinner on your own.

Day 7: Hue – Hoi An (B)
In the morning, depart with a guide for Hoi An via the scenic Hai Van Pass to view one of the most beautiful panoramas in Vietnam as you look out over the central coastline. You will also stop at the quiet, white sandy beach of Lang Co. Arrive in Hoi An late in the morning. Check-in at the hotel. Meals on your own.

Day 8: Hoi An City Tour (B/L)
In the morning, we will head to Hoi An’s bustling market and experience the amazing and colorful sights as you stroll through the market with your guide, who'll introduce you to the ingredients used in Vietnamese cuisine.
Full-day tour of the old city of Faifo: visit a Chinese - Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, the Tan Ky Ancient house, the Japanese bridge, and the ceramics museum. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will discover the famous handicraft silk lanterns, symbols of the city.
16.15: You will attend a folklore show in an old house (Nhà Biểu diễn nghệ thuật cổ truyền - 66 Bạch Đằng / 39 Nguyễn Thái Học - Hội An). Then, you will make a boat trip on the Thu Bon River. Return to your hotel. Dinner on your own.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoian – Danang – Saigon (B/L)
Depart with a guide to Danang Airport for the morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Welcome to the airport and transfer to the city. Lunch at a local restaurant
Afternoon, visit the historic sites of the city: President Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Post Office, and Ben Thanh Market. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner on your own.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 10: Saigon – Mekong Delta (B,/L)
After breakfast. Full-day tour to Mekong Delta with a boat trip along the Mekong River, visit the farmhouses, and the orchid. Discover the normal life of local people in the Mekong Delta and try to ride the sampan through the Channels. Lunch at a local house. After lunch back to the hotel. Dinner on your own.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11: Saigon City – Departure (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, it's your leisure time until we transfer you to Tan Son Nhat airport (in Ho Chi Minh) for your departure flight. Check-out time: 12h00. A late check-out can be arranged subject to room availability and a surcharge will be applied.
