Day 01: Welcome to Hanoi  

Welcome to Hanoi. Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese, and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by your private guide. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free at leisure.

 Day 02: Hanoi City Tour 

The colonial capital city Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes, and oriental pagodas and temples. 

This full-day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilts House, Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda nearby. Continue visiting Vietnam’s first university, the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature. Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon: 

• Visit Thu Huong Lacquer Arts & Workshop where you will learn about the history of lacquer, when it appeared in the world and how it developed through centuries. You will also learn about the color that is made from tree bark and the technique of using it, making the difference between Japanese or Chinese lacquer with Vietnamese one, and get to know the reason why traditional Vietnamese lacquer takes a long time to finish.
• Visit the Ethnology Museum (closed on Monday) where you can discover the diversity of Vietnam’s many ethnic groups.

In the late afternoon, you will enjoy a traditional water puppet show. Back to your hotel at 17.30.

Remark: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum closes from 08 September to 08 November for annual maintenance. Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Fridays and Mondays and most museums are closed on Mondays. All visitors to the mausoleum are required to wear clothes covering their knees and shoulders. This applies to both men and women

Day 03: Hanoi - Lao Cai - Sapa  

After breakfast at your hotel and check-out of your room, you will be picked up by a private vehicle with your private guide and Transferred from Hanoi to Sapa via Noibai - Laocai Expressway. The travel time is approximately 5 hours. Lunch at a local restaurant in Sapa. 

In the afternoon, visit the Lao Chai and Ta Van villages of the Hmong and Dzay minorities. You have the opportunity to take beautiful photos of rice terraces and meet ethnic minority people to learn more about their customs and cultures.

 Day 04: Sapa - Bac Ha Weekend Market   

Have breakfast at your hotel. At 07.30: Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer about 2.5 to 3 hours to Bac Ha Town, home of Flower Hmong ethnic people. 

On arrival, you will visit Bac Ha Sunday Market - the most beautiful market for Minority people in Vietnam. Every Sunday morning, many different ethnic groups such as Flower Hmong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay, and Nung minorities gather to buy and sell local products that cannot be found elsewhere. You will observe and explore the lifestyle and culture of local people through the market. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

After lunch, you will have a short transfer to Trung Do village of the Tay minority. On arrival, board a private motor boat and cruise along the Chay River - admire the breathtaking views as you float through this beautiful landscape.

Note: In case the level of water is not able to take a boat trip, you can change to take a buffalo cart in Trung Do village instead.

Back to the private vehicle for the journey to Sapa and spend the night there.

Day 05: Sapa - Fansipan Mountaint - Hanoi 

In the morning, you will have a short transfer to Fansipan Cables Station and Take a scenic cable car ride up 3,143 meters above sea level to the peak of Fansipan Mountain, the highest mountain in the Indochinese Peninsula, Fansipan. Take in an impressive scenic view of Hoang Lien Son Range and Muong Hoa Valley’s natural landscapes as you ascend the mountain. When you reach the top, spend time admiring the breathtaking views and exploring the various temples at the peak. Immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of the mountain with a visit to the Bich Van Thien Tu pagoda, Bao An Thien Tu temple, and Thanh Van Dac Lo spiritual landmarks.

Please note that: After the cable-car ride you still have to climb another 600 steps to the peak of the mountain (It takes about 20 minutes), or you can take another funicular from Do Quyen Station, passing a series of pagodas and buddhas to the summit (you buy your ticket)

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon transfer back to Hanoi via Laocai - Noibai Expressway. The travel time is approximately 5 hours. Transfer to Hotel for check-in

Day 06: Hanoi City – Halong Bay Cruise  

Breakfast at hotel and Check-out  of your room.

Transfer to Halong Bay for the tour 2 days/1 night on Cruise.

Day 07: Halong Bay – Hanoi   

Breakfast at Boat Cruise. Continue your cruise to discover the Halong bay 

After brunch on board your junk, it will be time to head back to the pier to return to Hanoi. On the way back from Halong Bay, stop to visit Phu Lang village in Bac Ninh is considered a famous ceramics village in Vietnam. Afterward, transfer back to Hanoi for check-in.

In the late afternoon, take a walking tour to explore the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Along the way, you will have a chance to discover the street food of Hanoi under the guidance of our local guide, and very unique travel experiences. This tour takes 3 hours. At the end of the trip, you are free to continue exploring Hanoi Old Quarter.

Visa Requirements:
