Day 1: Hanoi  Arrival (Meals: No)

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Vietnam's capital of Hanoi, your tour guide will welcome you outside the customs area holding a sign with your name on it. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 14h00. We’ll then proceed with a sightseeing tour of Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi City Excursion: Heritage & Culture (Meals: B, L)

Morning – Discover Vietnam’s Timeless Symbols

Begin your journey through the heart of Vietnam’s capital with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays and Fridays), an iconic site honoring the revered national leader. Continue to the nearby Presidential Palace's traditional stilt house, where Uncle Ho lived and worked, offering insights into his simple lifestyle and enduring legacy.

Next, marvel at the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique architectural gem rising from a lotus pond, symbolizing purity. Then, step back in time at the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university founded in 1070, dedicated to Confucius and scholars. Admire the serene courtyards, ancient stone stelae, and timeless Vietnamese architecture that echo the country’s deep respect for education and philosophy. Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon – Artistry and Cultural Tapestry

Delve into Vietnam’s artistic soul with a visit to the Thu Huong Lacquer Arts & Workshop. Gain fascinating insights into the origin and evolution of lacquer art — from its ancient roots to the refined craft it is today. Learn how natural materials such as tree bark are transformed into vibrant pigments, and discover what sets Vietnamese lacquerware apart from Japanese and Chinese styles. Witness the meticulous, time-consuming process behind each handcrafted piece, reflecting generations of craftsmanship.

Conclude your day at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays), where interactive exhibits and authentic displays showcase the rich cultural tapestry of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. Explore traditional homes, clothing, rituals, and tools, offering a deeper understanding of the country's vibrant diversity.

Remark: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum closes from 08 September to 08 November for annual maintenance. Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Fridays and Mondays and most museums are closed on Mondays. All visitors to the mausoleum are required to wear clothes covering their knees and shoulders. This applies to both men and women.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay Overnight on Cruiser (Meals: B, L, D)

Begin your unforgettable Halong Bay experience with a scenic transfer from Hanoi and an overnight cruise through the stunning limestone karsts of Bai Tu Long Bay.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, check out and meet your private guide and driver at approximately 8:00 AM. You will depart Hanoi for Halong Bay on a comfortable 3.5 to 4-hour drive, including a 30-minute rest stop along the way.
Arrive at the Halong Bay Cruise Port by late morning, ready to embark on your cruise adventure.

Midday – Embark on Your Halong Bay Overnight Cruise

From 12:00 to 12:30 PM, board your selected Halong Bay or Bai Tu Long Bay cruise. You’ll be greeted with a welcome drink and safety briefing before checking into your cabin.

Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board as the cruise begins gliding through the emerald waters of Bai Tu Long Bay, a quieter and equally majestic alternative to the main Halong Bay route. Admire the dramatic limestone islets, towering cliffs, and peaceful seascapes along the way.

Afternoon – Explore Thien Canh Son Cave & Relax on Board

In the afternoon, visit the beautiful and lesser-known Thien Canh Son Cave, located on Hon Co Island. This well-preserved cave features stunning stalactites and offers panoramic views over the bay – a perfect photo opportunity.
Return to the boat for leisure time to relax on the sundeck, swim, or enjoy a sunset over the karst landscape.

Evening – Dinner on Board & Overnight in Halong Bay

As night falls, enjoy a delicious dinner on board, featuring fresh local seafood and Vietnamese cuisine. Spend your evening at leisure – take part in optional cruise activities, unwind under the stars, or simply relax in the comfort of your private cabin.

Day 4: Halong – Hanoi – Danang - Hoi An (Meals: B, L)

Wake up to the serene beauty of Halong Bay and enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board as the cruise sails back toward the harbor.

Later in the morning, embark on a unique cultural excursion to Vung Vieng Fishing Village. Travel by rustic bamboo rowboat through this peaceful, water-bound community nestled among towering limestone islands. Meet local fishermen, observe traditional floating houses and visit a floating school and fish farms, gaining rare insights into life in one of Vietnam’s most unique communities.

Return to the boat, freshen up, and prepare for check-out.

At around 12:00 PM, disembark at Tuan Chau Wharf, marking the end of your Halong Bay cruise experience.

Afternoon – Flight to Danang & Transfer to Hoi An

Your private guide and driver will be waiting at the pier for a comfortable transfer to the airport for your flight to Danang (exact flight time TBC).

Upon arrival at Danang Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to the charming town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its lantern-lit streets, heritage architecture, and riverside ambiance.

Check-in at your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure. Dinner on your own to explore Hoi An’s vibrant culinary scene.

Day 5: Hoi An Experience: Market, Eco Fishing Village, Cooking Class & Walking Tour (Meals: B, L)

09:00 AM – Hotel Pick-Up & Market Visit

Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel by our friendly tour guide. Together with Executive Chef Doan Phuoc Tai, enjoy a leisurely walk or bicycle ride to the vibrant Hoi An Market. Discover the colorful chaos of local life, and explore the fresh produce, herbs, and spices that make up the soul of Vietnamese cuisine. Engage with local vendors and handpick the ingredients you will use in your cooking class.

10:00 AM – Cam Thanh Water Coconut Village & Basket Boat Ride

Transfer to the peaceful Cam Thanh Eco Village, a tranquil area surrounded by lush nipa palms. Experience an unforgettable ride in a traditional round bamboo basket boat, guided by local fishermen. Watch age-old fishing techniques come to life and try your hand at casting a net or catching crabs – an authentic glimpse into the coastal way of life.

11:30 AM – Cooking Class at Little River Café

Arrive at the charming Little River Café for a refreshing welcome drink. Chef Tai will introduce you to the secrets of Hoi An’s traditional cooking techniques – including food preparation, plating, and decorative presentation. Then, get hands-on: slice, chop, grate, and roll your way through a delightful cooking session. Under the chef’s guidance, create a mouthwatering Vietnamese meal to enjoy at the end of your class.

In the afternoon, we take a light excursion to go around the Ancient town of Hoi An and visit the Museum of Trade Ceramics or Museum of Folklore in Hoi An, Guangdong Temple, and The Chinese Assembly Hall of Phuc Kien. Our guide will tell you all the stories behind these historical relics. The tour will end with visits to the Japanese bridge, Phung Hung Old house (if time permits), and last but not least, Thang Loi Handicraft Workshop. 

Enjoy the mix of peace and alive nightlight in Hoi An Charming Town in the evening on your own.

Day 6 : Hoi An - Ba na Hills - Golden Hands Bridge (Meals: B, L)

Today, we drive to Ba na Hills. Take cables to the Top Hill. From the most modern cable car in Southeast Asia, look out over panoramic views of Da Nang city. After finishing the first cable car trip, you will explore the famous Golden Bridge and numerous other cultural attractions, including shrines, temples, a monastery, and the French village and tea shop. Have lunch at a restaurant (buffet). After lunch, you are free to explore the French village or join games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with a series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, The death race, dinosaur park (only some free games depending on Fantasy Park policy)

14:30: Return to the Cable Car to leave Ba Na Hills. Transfer back to Hoi An. Dinner at a local restaurant.

 Day 07: Relaxing on the Beach at Hoi An (Meals: B) 

Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Take a break from the itinerary and unwind by the sea. Spend a restful day at Hoi An Beach, soaking up the sunshine, walking along the white sandy shoreline, or simply relaxing in the tranquil atmosphere of Central Vietnam.
