Day 01: Arrival in Hanoi – City Highlights (Meals: None)

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private tour guide outside the customs area, holding a personalized welcome sign with your name. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel for check-in.

After a short refresh, begin your introduction to Vietnam’s capital with a gentle Hanoi city sightseeing tour, offering a perfect balance of culture, history, and local life.

City Tour Highlights

• West Lake & Tran Quoc Pagoda
  Visit West Lake, the largest lake in Hanoi, and explore Tran Quoc Pagoda, the city’s oldest Buddhist temple. This serene setting provides insight into Vietnamese spiritual life, local traditions, and centuries-old religious practices.
• Old Quarter Rickshaw Experience
  Enjoy a leisurely cyclo (rickshaw) ride through Hanoi’s historic Old Quarter, where narrow streets, bustling daily life, and well-preserved French colonial architecture create a vivid introduction to the city’s character and charm.
• Traditional Water Puppet Show
  Conclude the day with a Water Puppet Performance, a uniquely Vietnamese art form dating back over a thousand years, offering a fascinating glimpse into rural folklore, legends, and traditional music.

After the tour, return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 2: Hanoi – Sapa (B, L)

After breakfast at your hotel and check-out, you will be picked up by a private vehicle with your private guide and transferred from Hanoi to Sapa via Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway. The travel time is approximately 5 hours. Lunch at a local restaurant in Sapa. 

Afternoon, visit the Silver Waterfall - the most beautiful waterfall in Sapa, and conquer O Quy Ho Pass. O Quy Ho Pass is a popular attraction for travelers looking for adventure and natural beauty on their trip to Sapa. With its winding road and stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, taking a drive through the pass is highly recommended to fully experience the breathtaking scenery of Sapa.

O Quy Ho Pass is situated on Highway 4D running through the Hoang Lien Son range. It is recognized as one of the four most stunning passes in Vietnam, connecting the provinces of Lao Cai and Lai Chau. Sitting at a height of 2,035m above sea level, O Quy Ho Pass is lovingly referred to as "Heaven's Gate" by the locals. The summit is frequently shrouded in clouds, creating a mesmerizing and enticing view that lures countless tourists.

Option 2: Afternoon visit to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages of Hmong and Dzay minorities. You have the opportunity to take beautiful photos of rice terraces and enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery. Walk through villages where ethnic people live. Visit their homes and witness their daily activities. End of trip. Drive back to Sapa Town.

Day 3: Sapa – Fansipan Mountain – Hanoi (B, L)

In the morning, you will have a short transfer to Fansipan Cables Station and take a scenic cable car ride up 3,143 meters above sea level to the peak of Fansipan Mountain, the highest mountain in the Indochinese Peninsula, Fansipan. Take in an impressive scenic view of Hoang Lien Son Range and Muong Hoa Valley’s natural landscapes as you ascend the mountain. When you reach the top, spend time admiring the breathtaking views and exploring the various temples at the peak. Immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of the mountain with a visit to the Bich Van Thien Tu pagoda, Bao An Thien Tu temple, and Thanh Van Dac Lo spiritual landmarks.  Lunch at a local restaurant.

Note: 

• After the cable-car ride, you still have to climb another 600 steps to the peak of the mountain (It takes about 30 minutes). The road to ascend to the summit of Fansipan Mountain is incredibly steep and narrow, leading to rapid fatigue and a significant expenditure of energy.
• We strongly recommend traveling by funicular for the best and safest experience for you, for both the upward and downward directions. Especially when there are elderly people and children in the group.
• Fansipan cable car tickets & Funicular (Round-trip tickets) are not included in the tour
• Due to the geology of Fansipan Mountain, the walks are not necessarily suitable for the elderly, disabled, asthmatic or for those who suffer from vertigo or heart conditions. The amount of steps makes it unsuitable for pushchairs or for carrying babies in a sling or backpack. If you are not used to physical exertion then this walk could be too strenuous for you. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Afternoon, transfer back to Hanoi via Lao Cai - Noi Bai Expressway. The travel time is approximately 5 hours. Transfer to the Hotel for check-in. Free at leisure

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 4:  Halong – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Bike Tour (B, L, D)

08.00: Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer about 2.5 hours to Hoa Lu - Ninh Binh, the capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries — with a 20-minute comfort stop

On arrival, we will visit several historical sites in Hoa Lu Ancient Capital such as the Temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang, the Temple of King Le Dai Hanh, and a small museum with excavations and artifacts. The tour will help you better understand the history of the foundation and development of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu from 968-1010.

Afterward, continue to visit the beautiful Tam Coc and enjoy a unique boat trip to visit three caves, Tam Coc is known by the name “Halong Bay on land” due to its spectacular scenery with limestone karsts rising from the ground to tower over the region, and is a truly wonderful sight to see. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit Bich Dong Pagoda, Bich Dong Pagoda is a beautiful and historic site located in Ninh Binh. It's known for its unique combination of ancient pagodas, natural caves, and majestic mountains, all surrounded by lush greenery.

The pagoda complex consists of three main pagodas: Ha Pagoda (Lower Pagoda), Trung Pagoda (Middle Pagoda), and Thuong Pagoda (Upper Pagoda). Each pagoda is built at different elevations on the Ngu Nhac Mountain, and you can reach them by climbing a series of steep steps.

• Ha Pagoda: Located at the foot of the mountain, it serves as a shrine for worshiping the Buddha.
• Trung Pagoda: Situated halfway up the mountain, it is partially inside a cave and partially outside.
• Thuong Pagoda: The smallest and highest pagoda, located near the top of the mountain.

The site also features a picturesque lotus pond and a beautifully decorated gate, making it a popular spot for both tourists and photographers.

15.30: Drive back to Hanoi

17.30: Arrive at Hanoi and spend the night there.

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay with Day Cruise (B, L)

Explore Ha Long Bay - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - in just 1 day

07.30: You will be picked up by a private vehicle with your private guide and transferred from Hanoi to Halong Bay.

10:30: Boarding on Luxury Cruise and enjoy some light refreshments while the boat is heading towards some incredible landscapes in the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site.

12:00 – 13:00: Savor your lunch aboard Halong Luxury Cruise and adore the stunning scenery of the famous Fighting Cocks Islet, Thien Cung, and Dau Go caves along the way.

13:00 – 14:00: Your first excursion is to the magnificent Sung Sot Cave where you will be surprised by the breathtaking panoramic view across the Bay once you exit the cave. This is the largest cave in Halong Bay, and the stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years have taken on fascinating shapes.

14:30 – 15:30: Don’t miss the fun at Luon Cave – one of the best places for kayaking*. If you wish to just enjoy the view, a bamboo boat will bring you inside.

15:30 – 16:15: Your next stop is Titop Island to hike to the top for stunning panoramic views of the Bay. After your hike, go for a refreshing swim in Halong Bay’s emerald waters or sip from a coconut in the shade you can hike to the top for stunning panoramic views of the Bay or enjoy a refreshing swim in Halong Bay’s emerald waters.

16:20 – 17:20: Savor a drink* on board whilst the Luxury Cruise is getting back to Tuan Chau Marina.

17:30: Return to Hanoi from the harbor.

Day 6: Hanoi City Tour –  Departure ( B)

After breakfast at the hotel, it's your leisure time until we transfer you to Noi Bai Airport for your departure flight. Check-out time: 12h00. End of services.

Optional Tour:

The colonial capital city Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes, and oriental pagodas and temples. This half-day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilts House, Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda nearby, and the Temple of Literature. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for the departure flight. 

All visitors to the mausoleum are required to wear clothes covering their knees and shoulders. This applies to both men and women.
